Reading a Service Before You Sign Up on Your Phone

A sign-up screen takes ten seconds. Finding out what you joined takes longer. Read one overview page first.

Sign-up is designed to be quick

That speed is for the service's benefit. The things you need to know, such as fees, limits and how to leave, are elsewhere.

Find an overview

Look for a page that states what the service is, how you register, how money moves in and out and what to watch for. If the service itself does not provide one, an independent summary may.

What a complete overview covers

• Basic facts in a short table.
• What is offered, by category.
• Registration steps and what is asked of you.
• Deposits and withdrawals.
• Cautions.

An example of the format

In Traditional Chinese, and stating clearly that it is not the operator's own site: an overview of the KG gaming brand covering categories, offers, registration, deposits and withdrawals (KG娛樂城評價). Whatever the field, that checklist of sections is what to look for.

Then decide

If you cannot find how to get your money out or how to close the account, do not open one.
